DR. GANI ENAHORO, mni, (DVM, MSc, MBA, FCVSN, FCIEEE, CEnt, FGATE)
Dr. Gani Enahoro, mni, is a Certified Entrepreneur (CEnt), and an alumnus of Nigeria’s foremost Policy “Think-tank”, the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS). He was President of Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, and Councilor for Africa at the World Veterinary Association.
Dr. Enahoro is a Consultant Senior Animal Health Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and Founded Gan-Rovet Nigeria Limited in 1986.
He has more than 40 years’ experience in Veterinary/ Animal Health Entrepreneurship, Livestock Policy development, Livestock Business Consultancy, Animal Hospital administration and sundry livestock project development and management.
He had engineered and piloted animal related businesses for major International Oil Companies, such as The Shell Petroleum Development Company, and Chevron Nigeria Limited. He is also a Food Security and Livestock Value Chain Policy Expert.
Dr. Gani Enahoro has been a member of the Governing Board of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria since 2020 and a Fellow of the postgraduate College of Veterinary Surgeons Nigeria (FCVSN).
He is also a Fellow of both the Certified Institute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Education (FCIEEE) and Global Academy of Technology Entrepreneurship (FGATE).
Dr. Gani Enahoro was honoured by three Nigerian Universities as Role Model of the Veterinary Profession in Nigeria (UNN), Distinguished Veterinary Entrepreneur (FUNAAB) and Distinguished Faculty Alumnus Award by the University of Ibadan in 2017.
Also, he also bagged an award from the Association of Professional Bodies in Nigeria (APBN), for Outstanding Leadership and Commitment to professionalism in 2021.
